Kabul – A military vehicle was targeted in an explosion in Kabul, according to the Interior Ministry of the Taliban acting government.
“The incident took place at around 11:00 a.m. before noon today (Wednesday),” said Aqiljan Azzam, the Deputy Interior Ministry spokesman.
Azzam adds that the military vehicle belonging to their forces was blown up in the Benai area of the 9th security district of Kabul in which two soldiers were superficially wounded.
Taliban Interior Ministry officials did not provide further details, saying an investigation is underway.
According to them, there were no reports of civilian casualties in the attack.
In recent days, anti-security movements, including attacks on Taliban militants, have increased in some provinces.
