Kabul – Local sources in Panjshir province say there has been an armed clash between Taliban forces and Abdul Hamid Khorasani’s men.
According to sources, the clash took place after Taliban forces shot and killed a young man in the Anaba district of Panjshir today Sunday afternoon.
In an interview with Hasht-e Subh, Abdul Hamid Khorasani, security chief of the Taliban Police Command for Panjshir province, confirmed the news.
“The clash began after Taliban forces shot and killed an innocent young man in the Anaba district,” Hamid Khorasani said.
The clashes between his men and the Taliban have now stopped and that forces under his command are now on standby, Khorasani added.
It is worth mentioning that after the killing of this young man by the Taliban forces, the residents of Anaba district started protesting and transferred the body of the killed person to the official of Panjshir province.
Meanwhile, Anaba district has recently been the scene of numerous clashes between Taliban forces and the Ahmad Massoud Resistance Front.
