Kabul – The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s affiliated media has reported that the army chief of staff will visit the Afghan-Pakistani border during his visit to the east of the country.
The army chief of staff Qari Fasihuddin traveled to Nangarhar on Friday, December 24.
He will visit the Durand Line during a trip to Nangarhar, National TV reported.
During his trip to Nangarhar, Fasihuddin emphasized the strengthening and readiness of military forces on the border, especially with Pakistan.
Meanwhile, this is the first trip by the army chief of staff of the Taliban to eastern Afghanistan since the takeover, which is said to be aimed at visiting the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
