Kabul – Saudi Arabia is delivering its convoy of humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan via Pakistan, Pakistani media have reported.
The aid is provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid Center which will be transported by 200 vehicles from Pakistan to Afghanistan today Tuesday, December 21, according to Pakistani media.
The media reported that the aid amounted to about 1,920 tons, including food and non-food items that 280,000 people are expected to benefit from it.
Meanwhile, the aid agencies had earlier called on the international community and donor countries to send assistance to Afghanistan to prevent the current crisis.
