Russia’s Second Aid Consignment Arrives in Kabul

Kabul – Russia’s Foreign Ministry has announced the arrival of three military planes carrying humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.

The planes left the country for Kabul on the order of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Russian Tass news agency reported today Saturday, December 18, quoting the Russian Foreign Ministry.

In addition, Russia had already provided food and non-food aid to Afghanistan.

In the meantime, this is the second shipment of Russian humanitarian aid to Afghanistan since the takeover.

Meanwhile, people are facing food shortages with the recent political changes because with the collapse of the previous government, the aid of the international community stopped and many people lost their jobs.

Aid agencies have described the current situation as alarming and called on the international community to send immediate aid to Afghanistan.
