Kabul – The General Directorate of Passports has announced that the process of distributing passports in Kabul will resume tomorrow.
“The process will continue as normal from tomorrow,” said Alam Gul Haqqani, General Director of Passport Department in a news conference today Saturday, December 18.
However, he stressed that online forms have changed compared to the past and passport applicants should use the new form.
The residents should get passports from their respective provinces, Alam Gul added.
On the other hand, Haqqani said he had dedicated Thursdays to distributing passports to Taliban forces, and on this day only Taliban forces can go to the department to get passports.
Meanwhile, the process of distributing passports in Kabul was stopped about a month ago, and the department had announced that it had suspended operations for some time due to technical problems.
