Kabul – A 40-year-old man hanged himself in the provincial capital of Parwan due to poverty, local sources say.
The incident took place in Tatmadara, the center of Parwan Friday night, December 17.
According to sources, the man was named Mohammad Najib and was the father of six children.
The cause of Najib’s suicide was poverty, according to local sources.
The man was the driver of a passenger car in the past but had been unemployed for some time, sources stated.
Taliban officials in Parwan have not commented about the incident yet.
Meanwhile, committing suicide cases have been increased due to poverty in the country in recent days.
