Afghan ambassador to India Farid Mamundzai said that the aids will benefit a large number of Afghan families in this difficult time.
The aids that arrived on Saturday, December 11 contain 1.6 metric tons of life-saving medications.

The medical aids of India were taken to Afghanistan on flights that evacuated Afghan and Indian nationals on Friday.
It comes as the World Bank has decided to deliver $280 million to Afghanistan that will be used to address the food shortage and health sector in the country.
