France Press has reported that ISIS-K/Daesh has claimed responsibility for three explosions in the West of the Afghan capital that killed two civilians and wounded at least five more.
The three blasts occurred on Friday, December 10 in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul.
The explosions killed two and wounded five more including a woman.
Spokesman of Afghanistan’s interior ministry Saeed Khostai had confirmed the explosions and had added that the blasts had killed two civilians and wounded three more.
Daesh is still the only group that threatens the Taliban by carrying out explosions both in the capital and provinces.
The Taliban have repeatedly underestimated ISIS-K in Afghanistan saying that the group is not a big threat in Afghanistan and that it has been dismantled in the country.
In the meantime, US CENTCOM commander General McKenzie has recently said that ISIS-K and Al-Qaida have grown up after they withdrew forces from the country.
