Champions League last 16 draws, qualified teams, and everything you need to know

The Champions League’s group stage has almost come to an end. Fifteen of the 16 sides in the knockout rounds are known, with just Atalanta and Villarreal’s postponed fixture remaining to decide the last team to make it through the group stage.

Qualified teams are:

Group winners – Manchester City, Liverpool, Ajax, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Juventus, Lille.

Runners-up – Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Sporting Club de Portugal, Internazionale, Chelsea, Benfica, Salzburg, Villarreal/Atalanta.

The draw will be made on Monday, December 13, at UEFA’s headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The draw will be available to watch for free, as is always the case with Champions League draws. Viewers can tune in on either UEFA.com or on YouTube and follow along.

The first leg ties will take place across February 5/16/22/23 February, while the second legs will be played across March 8/9/15/16.

Group winners will be drawn against runners-up.

The only restrictions are that no team can be drawn with the winner or runner-up from their group, nor can they face any team from the same country.
