The humanitarian situation in Syria remains dire for millions of children, women and men across the country.
Needs are at their highest since the start of the war over 11 years ago.
The world’s largest refugee crisis continues to impact the region and the world.
I have just issued another report on the humanitarian situation in Syria and after my brief introduction, the Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs will brief you on the latest developments.
The figures are stark:  
14.6 million people need humanitarian assistance.
